Drawing a face with words
About this project:
This face of Lee Weswood is created by many words instead of many colors. I first traced the form of his face and some details very carefully because later I would erase those lines. Then I had to choose something that simbolized him to write on those lines, I chose to write his achievements and goals since he is a very famous and successful golf player.
Reflection:
I enjoyed making this project because it was interesting because it was different from the other type of works I ussually make. It was too hard to make the shading to the face because I needed to use different tones of pen and everything would have looked messy and unrealistic. I think I could have imroved this project in two ways. I think it would have been better if I traced more details of the original photo so it doesn´t look so boring. Other thing that I realized was the form of the hair, I made all the words just in one direction and it looked as if that was his hairstyle. It would look much better if I had done it with curves in different directions
